The Nutrition and Health Technology Centre (CTNS) is part of the nutrition and health cluster in the technology park in Reus, Tecnoparc. It will be located in the URV's "Nutrition and Health RDI Centre" on the Bellisens campus.

This same building will also house other technological research facilities such as the company "Shirota Functional Foods SL (SFF)", the URV's Scientific Resources Service and the "Pere i Virgili Health Research Institute (IISPV)".

Altogether these facilities will form a strong nucleus of research and development with other URV structures of clinical and applied research, the Hospitals of Tarragona and the primary health care network.

The CTNS has been registered as a technology centre by ACC1Ó and is part of TECNIO, the Catalan Network of Centres that provides technological services to industry. An initiative of the Catalan government, it also belongs to a network of three technological centres specializing in the food industry sector. The other two centres that are part of the network are the Centre for New Food Technologies and Processes (CENTA) in Monells and the Fruitcentre in Lleida.
